The sword can be used by other people, it's just that even the current wizard king would barely have enough mana to properly use it but Asta does not have that side effect since he has no mana

Interesting. I've always wanted to see someone simply take asta's sword (besides what happened in the elf arc) and just use them .-. either by overpowering then swords anti magic with their own magic, or using the anti magic of the sword itself.
